The United States Military is the pride of our nation.

But the after-hours culture that surrounds the military ensnares many

young men and women into lifestyles that  destroy lives and ruin families.

Over 30% of our active duty military identify as non-religious or atheist.Of those who identify as Christian, their military service, American citizenship, family, and even hobbies all rank higher than their Christian faith in what they believe gives them a sense of their identity.

Military Evangelism exists to “Help our Troops Find and Follow Jesus Christ.”

We actively seek out lost Marines and Sailors.

We also act as a “rescue mission” to young Christians who join the military and find themselves away from church for the first time in their life.

Our goal is to bring them back into fellowship with the saints and direct them back to the local church.

We accomplish our mission by providing Home Cooked Meals and Bible studies weekly

But our Home cooked meals are not just an enticement to get Troops to the Bible Study.

Each year over 80 Million dollars in food stamp purchases are made at U.S. military commissaries. Many of our military are utilizing charitable food pantries to supplement their individual and family food budget.

When we feed them we take some of the financial pressure off them.

Our staff prepares 50-60  meals each week at an average cost of $5 per meal.

Every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:00 we gather for dinner, then open The Word.

Solid doctrine is the main focus of our teaching. We study through the great books and passages of the Bible using a historic, contextual and literal exposition of Scripture.

Our attendees are hungry for the Word, and many questions arise from the study time. Sometimes we find ourselves holding additional, impromptu studies late into the night

that grow out of these questions.

As a permanent party base, the Marines and Sailors at Camp Lejeune and the surrounding

bases are often with us for two to four years.

This gives us the opportunity to do intensive, long-term discipleship.

We strive to provide our Marines and Sailors with practical life application of the truths

of God's word.

Then we help them live out their faith and make decisions based on a Biblical worldview.

“The Center has had an

amazing impact on my faith and my life.

The  Center allows me to fellowship with other believers in the Corps.

Then we grow together in our faith, share it with others

and encourage other Marines to pursue a life with Jesus.

When we are struggling, Dave and Patty are there to guide

and encourage, and when we've had a long day and  are running

on an empty stomach, there is always food on the table waiting for us.

I pray that other Marines will get to experience life here at the Center.”

“The Center has helped me in so many ways. I was saved within a few months of attending then was baptized by Dave in the ocean. The Center has helped keep me on the path of Christ a lot better then I could have done alone. Dave an Patty are very kind people who would be willing to help anyone out for anything. The Center is like my second home, and I am grateful everyday for having the amazing people here in my life. I would recommend to any servicemember who wants to learn more about Christ or wants to better follow Him to start here.”

“The Center is a beacon of hope.

It’s hard to find devout Christians in the

Marine Corps, but I found them here.

A community of Christians who happen to

be in the Marine Corps as well.

They are my family and The Center

is my home away from home.”

Military Evangelism has no central funds for paying staff salaries

or performing our daily operations.

Like other missionaries and mission organizations, Military Evangelism depends upon the faithful financial support of churches and individuals who have a heart for the Gospel and our military.

Monthly contributions are used solely to fund ministry operations including staff salaries, insurances, property maintenance, feeding our Troops and other day-to-day expenses.

To continue reaching Marines and Sailors with the Gospel we must expand our team of partners who are willing to give monthly.

We are praying God would send us 100 new supporting partners at $25, $50 or $100 per month.

Any amount will help.

Our goal is to eliminate our current operating shortfall and allow us to bring on our

Assistant Director full time.

This means we will reach more Marines and Sailors with the Gospel.

Picture9.png

With full funding and another full time Director we will be able to add two extra meals & Bible studies each week, effectively starting an additional Center on site, doubling our ministry outreach at a much lower cost than starting a center at a different site.
